With over 12 years of experience as a driving instructor, I hold several advanced driving instructor qualifications, which include: DVSA ADI (car) & Fleet Trainer, Pearson BTEC Level 4 Award in Coaching for Driver Development, Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Education & Training (formerly PTTLS), RoSPA GOLD Advanced Driver & Tutor, and iAM Road Smart F1RST Advanced Driver & Fellow. Unlike the average driving instructor who may teach only to the minimum standard required to pass your test, I focus on coaching to a higher standard. My approach includes defensive driving, advanced driving techniques, and commentary driving, which ensures you learn valuable skills for life, become safer on the road, and significantly improve your chances of passing your test on the first attempt. Additionally, I offer intensive driving courses designed to accelerate your learning process.
Your first lesson will be an ‘assessment’ drive, allowing you to experience my coaching style and test drive my car, a SEAT Ibiza 1.0 TSI FR. As a qualified driving instructor, I prioritize your comfort and confidence behind the wheel.
Your driving lessons will be scheduled for 90 minutes, with the goal of securing a regular lesson time once per week. My calendar tends to fill up a fortnight in advance, and availability will depend on your schedule and my free calendar slots. Please be aware that after-school slots are often booked weeks ahead.
I also prioritize my students preparing for their Practical Driving Test, which means that my 'test' students may need to reschedule their normal lessons by agreement. I will notify you of any changes well in advance and appreciate the same courtesy if you need to adjust your driving lesson time.
